  • Begin by discussing with students what they know about tenses, particularly focusing on the future tense.
  • Explain that today's lesson will focus on using the future tense form of verbs with "will."
  • Provide examples of sentences using the future tense ("will + verb").

2. Explore (15 minutes):

  • Write a few sentences on the board using "will + verb" structure.
  • Explain the rule: "When we talk about something that will happen in the future, we use 'will' followed by the base form of the verb."
  • Watch a video clip from teacher’s blogsite on future tense and ensue a class discussion.
  • Give additional examples from teacher’s blogsite (orally), and encourage students to identify the future tense verbs in each sentence.
  • Clarify any questions students may have.

3. Explain (10 minutes):

  • Have students work in pairs or small groups to create sentences using the future tense with "will."
  • Circulate the classroom to provide assistance and ensure understanding.

Evaluation Activities: 15 Mins

Tier 1: Basic Level (Low-Level Thinking)

  • Have students complete sentences using the future tense form of verbs with "will" on a worksheet.

  • Example scenario: "Two friends are planning a trip together. Write a conversation between them discussing what they will do and see during their trip."

Conclusion (5 minutes):

  • Review key concepts of the lesson and ask students if they have any questions.
  • Reinforce the use of future tense with "will" and its importance in expressing future actions.
  • Assign homework, if necessary, to further practice using the future tense.
