                  ESSENTIAL WORKERS

Essential services are the services and functions that are necessary, especially during a pandemic and natural disaster. Workers in these areas are called essential workers.

Some essential workers are firefighters, police, soldiers, nurses and doctors.




Non-essential services are the services that are not essential to the community and can be stopped or closed down during a pandemic, a natural disaster or other emergency situation. Workers who provide these services are called non-essential workers.
