CONTENT :
Letter "Nn" is a letter of the alphabet. It is a consonant.
ENGAGE:
Students will review letter sounds dealt with so far. /s/, /a/, /t/, /i/, /p/
Students will orally complete the matching game below orally.
They will be asked to stress the initial sound heard as the words are called.
Identify the letter that makes the sound. "n"
Pay attention to mouth formation as the letter sound is stressed.
EXPLORE:
Watch video clip to lean more about letter "n", and learn words with initial and final sound.
Pronounce the new words from the clip, by blending phonemes.
Continue to blend phenemes to read the words below.

EXPLAIN:
Supply words with initial and ending "n" sound.
Write both upper and lower case "Nn" in their books.
ELABORATE:
Substitute consonants to form new words, then use blend phonemes to help pronounce new words.

Use some of the new words formed to complete sentences accurately.
